It is an antibiotic produced by the strain of Str. albus 80614. It has anti-gram-positive bacteria and mycobacterium effects. It also has the effect against gram-negative bacteria and fungi but the effect is weak. It has a therapeutic effect on chickens infected with coccidiococci.
