Filipin Ⅲ is a polyene macrolide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces filipinensis and Str. durhamensis. It has anti-fungal activity and has the effect of inhibiting Mycoplasma Lebsiella. It also has an effect on the diseases caused by Aspergillus penicillium, stalk mold and other crops such as peas and tomatoes.
